We break our group info smaller groups, specialized training, and to do our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19. If you are new to Texas Thunder, you will come to the practice on Monday or Tuesday at Williamson County Regional Park. Coach Roddy will work with you to determine the group that will best suite your athlete's needs.

Registration Deadline for the Primary Championship and Xtreme Force Invitational Meet: Thursday June 3rd, at 10:00 pm.
Age divisions 7— 12 are limited to three (3) events, including relays. Age divisions 13 and older are limited to four (4) events, including relays. All Jumps & Throws limited to four (4) attempts.
Note: There will be no athlete registration the day of the meet. Register Early!
Athletes must wear a mask when not running.
All attendees must participate in a triage that includes a health assessment upon entering the stadium.

*General Info: Field events usually start between 8am and 9am and Running events usually start between 10am and 11am. Coaches and managers will arrive around 7am to get bracelets and/or bib numbers, which are required for the athletes to wear while competing. Arriving at 7:30am as a team is optimal and recommended. If not arriving at 7:30am come find the team and retrieve your athlete's bracelet and/or bib number, then your child will be allowed in. Meets are on a rolling start so it is impossible to predict when your athlete's race will be. Come early to support your team and be prepared for your race.
*Admission fees: Many meets charge an admission fee for spectators. This includes parents, siblings, and any non-participating athletes. Prices range from $5 to $20 depending on if it is a practice meet or a qualifying meet.
*Food and Water: Coolers with PLENTY of water and snacks. Track meets last all day and it is imperative that you keep your athletes completely hydrated and fueled for the day. Concession stands are available at some meets.
*Things to bring: Tents to provide shade, if you have one. Chairs and/or tarps and blankets. Uniform (if available), spikes, running shoes, and extra shoes to walk around in between events. Music, books, etc to keep your athlete occupied between races.
*Have Fun: Support and encourage your athletes to do their very best.
